Skywalker budding

I have never grown Skywalker before, so I would like to know how long to bud it. I was thinking eight weeks, but since it has more sativa in it than any of the strains I usually grow I may give it nine or ten. What do people who have grown it think?

Keep checking the trichs and then you will know when its done....

Where did you get the seeds? You may want to check there for approx flowering times. Remember that breeder's estimates are generally very optimistic and most take a week or two longer than estimates. The only way to know for sure is to check the trichs as JAAM mentioned.

Marijuana-seeds.nl has it listed as an Indica, not even a hybrid, with a 8-9 weeks flowering time.

They are clones. I assumed there was more sativa because according to Dutch Passion it is a Mazar x Blueberry, and Blueberry has some sativa genes. All of the other strains I do are at least 85% indica. Dutch Passion says 8 to 9 weeks.

Hey YYZ, i remember you mentioning you were going to run Skywalker. Its mostly an Indica, and depending on the genes of the Clones its 100% indica if not tampered with.

I just posted up some updated pics of my Skywalkers, nice dark green fat wide leaves. The suggested Flower period is 8-9weeks, but im going to lean more towards 9-10. My other strain is a Sativa which will be chopped at 10weeks, so ill chop the skywalker a week before. As THG said, its all about the Trichs, but you should shoot for at least 8.


Post up some pics of the clones if possible, i hope you have a taller ceiling because my skywalkers are around 4ft tall so youll have that to look forwards too!!

Green mojo for the info Deathsmile, I shall post some pics when I get a new camera (my damn Canon Powershot Whatever picked this week to suicide itself). The Skywalker is five weeks into budding and semi-horizontalised, and all of them are around 4' long/tall. I am checking out your plump-leaved, huge-budded pics and they definitely look indica to me. I have a lot more hope now. :icon_smile:
