I have a 400 watt@150watt both can go mh orhps.l have a 4x4x6 area .Now should l have more like 600? I noticed that a few plants were smaller so the question!

16x5000=80,000 lumens
I think you might be a little short on lumens but I am not sure because I don't know off hand how many lumens a 150 HPS puts out. A 600W HPS puts out 90,000 I believe.

Most 150W only put out 15,000 lumens, so yeah, you are underlit some. I am running a 600W in a 32 x 32" tent and it is not too much.
