Was gonna construct a 3x3ft by 4ft box and was curious if I put an outake fan in the top for heat desipation,would I also need an intake? Provided it will be open and getting air during the day


Will be running 250 HPS.

I would always set the box up to run all closed up. then if its open even better. that way you can keep some stealth about it.

Yeah, I was gonnahave all the ducting coming out the back and have it in a corner so the tubing and deoderizer canbe well hidden, just gnna put a door with a lock and seal for easy access to it.

Plus, with me and my girlfriend sleeping ind the room there will be lotsa CO2

you wont have problems with heat problems with 250w in that space as long as there is some ventilation.

Soooo, would a small PC fan suffice?? I am yet to order the lighting, however I was wondering what you'd recommend, the 250 or 400? Would the 400 maybe lead to some high teamperatures or is 250 adequate enough to produce 2 or possibly 3 plants?

You would need good ventilation to run the 400 in that space, I think the height is the issue/and distance from light.
Remember your going to lose maybe 1ft in height when you add pots or hydro system.
You would probably want to 12/12 from clone or 1 week veg with a little LST *by hand.
It all depends what you want and purpose of your grow

no a small PC fan could not handle the 250. but you could get 2-3 ounces with a 250W after you get a few grows under your belt. but a 400W would give you bigger denser buds. I've grown 5 plants under a 250W easily. could do 2 big ones in 5 gallon buckets trained too.

I will say planning a two stage grow would be in our best interest. 1 part veg/clone other flower that way you not waiting for seed starts to mature. The whole point of growing is to keep onself with smoke cheaply.

Yeah I just went ahead and got the 400 HPS because with only a two plant cycle I wanna reap what I can

I figured losing a foot of space with pots and the light which is why I am gonna veg for 30 days (or 1 foot) and then do some LST

Yeah, I made a little veg room out of an old school 70's end table, big two paneled swinging door, it's cool beans.

I kinda wanna put this beast of a cabinet in the bedroom and just put a TV or some pictures and junk on it. Have the outake in the back so it's tucked away with access to a window if needed.
