ok so i have a plant, its not to big right now but i have heard about plants getting way to tall. is there any way to sort of regulate how tall a plant can get??? oh, and the plant is grown outdoors, but may be reloactedto indoor if it gets to big. thanks. :watchplant:

your plant could grow any height between 1 foot and 15 foot it all depends on the strain, how well its taken care of, how much nutes its fed, all different things will be taken into consideration. and if it gets too big, how will you fit it inside? how big is your grow room? 1 outdoor plant can be bigger than a few indoors 1s.

Yup, that's definately strain dependant.

Sativas have long and skinny finger like leaves. Givin space and proper conditions they can get to be as 85cannabliss said, 15 feet and i've even heard of taller!

Indicas have fat-shorter leaves. They givin bad or good conditions usually wont get higher than 4 feet IME. Indoors i think they even get less than that but i'm an outdoor grower.

If you do happen to have a raging sativa or even a weird raging indica that wants to clime to dangerous heights, you can tie your plant down.

I heard it gives a little stress to it, but not much. Just take it and pull the top of the plant down to a nice bend, not in a breaking mannor, and tie it to hold it there. It'll start to grow sideways and eventually try to grow back up, but then just tie that part down and you should be good to go. hope this helps

yea man thanksill def remember bout the bending, i have heard on that too. as far as the strain, i would say sativa, althought my last plant was an indica. it was like 3ft high and thick as hell with some sticky. anyways thanks again. there are pics of my plant under the topic "tell me what u think of 'em"

outdoors you dont have to worry about size unless your worried about it being seen. Good luck.

You can lst, top, and supercrop the plant to keep it short and bushy. I have used lst on my outdoor ladies for years with fantastic results. Giant bushes full of tops= great yields. Search the above terms here on MP and you can find lots of useful information. Trillions link is also a good one to read over. Take care and be safe.

I pulled my tall plant into the neighboring crape mertyl bush and it really helped keep things low. Good luck.
