I think(just an opinion) people make lite mistakes when they consider grow rooms. If you are growing ryders they only get about 20" or so, probably less. The ineffeciency of the 250 watter lies in the fact that your room is 6 feet tall, and this unused area is also lit up taking away lumens from your plants. If you can put in a false ceiling so your lite power isn't wasted.:D

i would go no less then 600 for desent results

its not even that big of a grow area, im afraid of burning these plants.

The description does say for 3 X 3 area, your over that amount of space

I have a 1000W HPS in a 3 x 6.5 room and it is not overlit. Also, why are you growing lowryder when you have so much headroom?

I agree, i see so many that go to lowryders for there first grows. Growing is not difficult at all. Dont be scared to go all out.
