the plant is out of bagseed,in happy frog dirt with perlite mixed in, feed with Flora Nova Grow. the leaves are curling, look like they are leathery, like they have scales kinda. not sure how to describe the look. Even the new groth turs yellow and curly like... any suggestions,,,Merry Christmas To All!! forgot the pics...

I believe your PH may be too high and is locking out some nutrients. It also looks like you may be missing some of the micro-nutrients as well. Are you using any GH Flora Micro as that has many of the micro-elements that the plant needs, Using the grow by itself leaves out too much.

Its very important to keep the PH checked and set right before adding any water to the plants as that will help the soil stay at the proper PH level. If you don't have a good PH pen then you need to get one asap :)

:yeahthat:

Hush.... Flora Nova is a 2 part nute program...Just grow and bloom

what needs to be done to fix ph issues? flush and renute with phed water or what????

So you are not checking the ph at all? I agree with these guys...looks like a ph issue. I ph everything to 6.5 in soil. This might be a case where flushing would actually help. Do you have a ph meter? If you are not running all Organic you will need to ph your water and nutrients. If you need a meter try eseasongear.com.
I have this meter and it has been great for a couple years now. I can replace the probe when I need to. http://www.eseasongear.com/mismphmosms1.html

This is all the sales>>http://www.eseasongear.com/clearance.html

Yeah it might be wise at this point to get a 5gal bucket of water and set the PH to 6.5 and then pour all the water through the plant slowly and let it drain to waste. Then from that point on always check and adjust water/nute solution to 6.5-6.7 before adding to soil. :)

After some CSI investigation I think I found what caused the problem. I watered with some of Grandmas Molasses, 2 table spoons per gallon. Thats when the stuff started happening. What have I locked out or screwed up? bigger question is how do I fix it? Allready flushed Sunday night with rain water, sat out all night long.:tokie: :cool2:

:ciao: Mike

do you check PH ?..and do you check after nutes added?

After this time...have they gotten any better?

To much Mg and it will lock-up with the Cal.

That is why I only use molasses in my teas, it feeds the microbes.

Well they not no better but they ain't dead :woohoo:
Don't think that they are going to grow out of it. The new growth is still dry and crumbly, still like the pics.
feed after it dryed out with ph'ed water and GH nutes so we going to wait and see.Is the problem with the mollesses mixed in with the GH nutes? Not at the same time but supplemental watering.. did that mess it up?:)

If you are using GH 3 part with molasses, it is a waste and not needed.

You are mixing synthetics with organics that has no microbes in the soil to use the molasses.

Yep.. PC took the thoughts out of my head and the words out of my mouth. Adding the mollasses to the system with the GH will just complicate things, and most likely threw off the PH. :)

Yeah agree big time. If you are not Organic ditch the molasses. You don't have any microbes to be feeding and your nutrients require that you are in a ph range of 6.3 -6.8.

PC, thats what i told someone that you should not mix th two but the dude that gave me the plants to grow said it wont hurt... shows what he knows!!
Anyway it still looks like poo.. took a clone that rooted in 5 days, do you folks think that the clone will grow out of it or chunk the whole mess?

Get your pH correct and it should grow out of it.

Your girls should also grow out of it, if you correct the pH, just takes time and patience.

Did you give your girls a good flush after you figured out the molasses could be the problem?

Yes, sat outside all night in the pouring rain, like 2.5 inches, still looks like the original pics but worse. New top growth is curling, turning brown and dying. Looks bad bad bad ... will wait on the clone to see if it lives... my take the sick one back to the man that broght it!!LOL
