I have heard people say that this works and i was wondering what yall thought any tryed it results??? just stick a big cardbored box, trashcan over the plant for 24 hours allowing no light to get in for example wait till night till today put the box over the plant make sure its light tight then wait till the day after tommarow then take it of a little before morning or what??

hahahha budy theirs a thing on the top it should say creat a thread or some thing like that

yes a normal summer day is 12 hours light 12 hours dark buy if you have the option to grow inside why would you want to take your plants outside to bugs and uncontolable weather conditions

Puff, it sure saves on the electric bill! Plus you really don't get anywhere near the same sized plants.

Kindbud, I've never heard of forced flowering outside, EXCEPT in green houses. They had a light-proof tent automatically pulled over flowers to imitate the different light period. This was done daily, so the light schedule was consistent.

I don't think your idea of covering it for 24 hrs will work. As a guess, I think it'd confuse the plant. After all, you're not going to go back all the time and keep doing it, so it will notice the light schedule hasn't really changed.

I believe bubby is right!!!! you will probably confuse the plant and turn it hermie

I believe we have to think that the nature has its laws and all plants have been following it for bilions of years. Marijuana is originally from regions where you dont have 24 h nights and days so its pretty certain that it wont be good for the plant.

Some have done this by putting a light-proof tarp over the plants for 12 hours out of 24, but you have to be there every day to do it. There is a documentary film called "Walking Naked Laughing" about some growers in BC that do that but they lived in the deep woods for the entire growing season.
