NY Marijuana Penalties?

Hi Everybody,

I've been to www.norml.org and done some research, but the marijuana laws seem to be guidelines only. Does anybody know what the ACTUAL consequenses are for having one plant in your backyard? Will you get a simple fine? Criminal record? Jail time? I'm just trying to figure out what the likelyhood of being caught is, and if so do I need to be totally scared or will it just be a slap on the wrist...

It looks like in new your they just view the plant by weight and probally use the same weight laws that they list to find sentancing.
