good morning MP:fly::fly::fly:
I have a few days left until harvest (or so i think) not only most of the trichomes look clear.. it just doesn't look like there a lot of frost at all... can it b because this is my third run with the 1000W Eye Hortilux ? or may b because at one point the temp were going over 100F?

could be from what you mention.
could just be not a very frosty plant (have you grown this strain before?)
could just need more time

why do you say it's almost done though then? (when it sounds like it looks like it's not)

it's not your bulb---not the temps either---possibly the strain---but---sounds like you may be harvesting early---most wait for milky white and even amber tricombs

the strains are F13 and Blue Dream, never grown either b4. i've grown OG, and the lack of frost was never an issue.
it was flowering for 9 weeks and i was gonna flush for one, i already started flushing, would it make sense to keep her longer without giving her any nutrients?... does the # of trichomes increase at the very very end?
i'm having hard time determining whether they r clear or cloudy, (with X60 madnification and all the pic tutorials)

Didn't you have some trouble with those plants? heat, bugs, nutes? Any time you have troubles during flower it will delay the flowering and harvest. I'm not sure if that is the case here but it sounds like it. If you want to extend the flowering another week, running them without any nutes will cause them to begin to yellow off pretty hard but may not hurt anything depending on how big and strong the plants are now. If you don't have any cloudy trichomes then they aren't ready. Are the trichome heads real swolen looking or are they tiny in comparison to the stalks? If they are real swolen then you could probably go another week. But if they aren't very swolen and you say there aren't a lot of them then I would be inclined to think that you need to go a couple more weeks AND stop flushing and go back to feeding a smaller amount(like half of what you were feeding before you started flushing. :)

yes, all kinds of trouble :holysheep:
is this an ok pic? that's f13

If you are having a hard time determining clear or milky most likely they are clear.

HID lights sometimes makes it hard to get a true rendering.

Some plants/strains just get more of that frosty look then others.
Some look like someone has poured powered sugar over them and others look wet/glistening.

Cut a small leaf off and look in your scope on the desk/kitchen table.

If not to your liking feed them girls:)

Took a quick glance at your GJ and I agree with Hushpuppy. With the troubles you have overcame is delaying the girls.

seen pic, I would keep an eye on her but let her go

I felt the same way about my last grow which was also my first , I did take advice from the good pepole here at MP and I left them in the 12/12 for anouthe week and a half in that time most of the trichomes turned amber or brownish in color thats when I know it was time you might just want to give them plants some more time and check them evert couple days till you see what you want :)

Yep, it looks like they are just starting to turn a bit. I would give them at least another week as the heads are very swolen. :)

Thank you all!! i stopped flushing , and started feeding 1/2 of the amount i was b4 i started flushing... will keep an eye on her for another week...:watchplant:

....and PCDuck, thank you for those links on equipment (when i was looking for T5) i've never seen prices that low!!!!!
