Welcome. Jerry Garcia died several years ago. Are the Dead touring without him?

They sure are man... and let it be said that it is NOT going to be the same without him (obviously). They have said that this is not going to be a nostalgia tour... it will be new material and classics intertwined for something fresh. Phil, Bobby, Mickey, and Billy never stopped touring... they just toured with their other bands, Ratdog, Phil and friends etc..
The core four, as they are known, reunited with Warren Haynes (the Allman Bros) and jeff Chimenti (Ratdog) as simply "the Dead" for a rally for then candidate Barack Obama, and since then they have announced a Spring tour... check them out at dead.net Hopefully i will get to see some of you guys at one (or more) of the shows.
