Newbie Question

Hey guys, I'm sure this question has been asked many many times, but im new and havent been able to get straight answers from what i have searched and read. My first two plants are defently male, i have 3 more a couple weeks behind and have seperated them so they cant pollinate that younger plants when the time comes. Now can the male plants be made into regs? or can i do anything with them, they are close to harvest and i dont want to just toss them. Thanks in advance

they can produce buds with very low thc,nothing you will be able to really smoke or get rid of as "regs".unless you want to breed i suggest disposing of them.but if your curious and have the space i would bud them.just to get an understanding.

I'll try to help but i'm a little confused by your post.

What do you mean "made into regs"??

No, boys do not become girls, if that's what you were asking.

Keeping the males and letting their pollen get into the air can and will impregnate future females. Seriously.

What do you mean that your males are close to harvest, btw?

My husband likes smoking the males, but there is very little THC in the leaves.

You can make hash out of males too, but, again, very little THC. It was hard for me to get rid of males the first time too.... :joint4:

Ok, here's some straight answers.

If you are loking for ways to use the male plant to get high, you're wasting your time and it won't happen. Any tales telling otherwise are simply fables or stories from someone who confused male plants with female plants.

Keeping the males alive and flowering them will make em release pollen, which unless you are absolutely sterile with your growroom procedures, can make its way back to your girls and give you a bunch of unwanted seeds.

GMcopr brings up a good point though. I guess if you want to taste a marijuana plant without getting popped in a drug test, you could do that.

Really though, unless you plan to breed, tear those guys down and direct your energy to those up and comers, jmo...
