newbie from the north

[Alaska]

Hello all:
I am a commercial fisherman in AK. in the summer and have lots of time to plow snow in the winter. Seeings how we are in the remote, I like to have my own supply. I recently switched from soil to hydro and am finding it to be a whole different game. Am experiencing some glitches , but this forum has been extremely helpful so I thought I'd join.

alaska is civil to it's residents but thanks for the concern they don't come through your doors here AK doesn't prosecute personal use besides there are no enforcement personnel here. They have to boat or fly in but good thought all location and pics are now gone

theres a strain called alaskan something, i think it does well in alaska.
do you live in the part where it never gets dark? bet plants get some good light there,
or is it always cold there?

Ekoostik: the summers are long but the winters are dark
There are two good alaskan strains I'm familiar with
AK-47, and Matanuska Thunderfu**,
The Matanuska valley is really the only place you can grow outdoors. Most everybody here is indoors. Weather conditions are just too radical
The "Northern Lights" strain is here a lot also but I don't know if it's really an alaska strain.
