glad to be here.

so it has been about 4 years since ive last grown. when i did i had a buddy plug me with clones all the time. my last grow i planned on growing my own mom out and cloning from her. as **** happens and life has its way of taking us different directions i ended up taking a brake. so now im back and im picking up a 1000 mh/hps this week. im wanting to start from seed which i was hooked up from a good friend. so now i still run into this problem. ive never grown my own mother.

i know you want to grow out all your seeds. pick the nicest one of the bunch, but how do i take it from flowering to veg. do i just keep em all under a mh and select the mother that way? right a the moment i do have my fungus thumb but i know mj is nothin like magic. i sure do miss my grow room though.

im gonna be using Ocean Forest from fox farm to start my seedlings off in and then transfer to 1 or 2 gallon buckets. once i select my mom im gonna move her into 5 gallon bucket and switch to aero for my clones and do up some scrog.

any help and tips please

You can either grow them out till they show sex on their own or you can flip them to 12/12 till they show sex then choose the one or ones you like best and then simply go back to 18/6 or whatever light schedule you use to veg....you are only getting them to show sex not letting them bud up...they will go back to veg state quite easily if you don't wait to long after seeing signs of sex.

IMO ,I would take a few clones off each plant,provided you had enough room, then flip the plants to 12/12. It elimnates the stress of switching back to veg. And I think it takes atleast 4wks into flower to find a good mum. You can check the aroma and trichome production alot better at 4weeks than when they just start to show sex. JMO Grow safe
