Need advice

Whats going on guys, I am new to this site and I'm sorry if this is a repost (witch most likley it is) but I am on a sidekick and checking out all the threads is complicating... But I just moved to San Antonio, Tx from the Boston area and the weather here is always 80 degrees +. I decided to get some plants going, but I have no clue were to start. I have been blazing for years but never planned on growing myself so I never looked into it. I bought a bad of potting soil, etc.. My main questions are

1.) How deep should I put the seeds in.
2.) Should they be in the sun.
3.) How often to water them
4.) Special treatment?
5.) Does one type of seed make a certian type of plant?
6.) What are ways to improve quality?

All input is very appreciated,

welcome, you have a lot of things to figure out before you start, but luckily you're at the right place. go to the resources page and check out the grow guides there, you will answer most questions there, if you need more help, just ask

:welcome:Growing pot is not as easy as it sounds ... they are things you need to know before you grow ... check out this short video ... if will give you an idea what you are facing and how not to get caught ... check it

... there are lots of info on growing outdoors at this site and others and tons of videos on the subject at YouTube ... :hubba: here's another one ... There are 11 episodes ... give you a good idea of the work that is required ... you probably aren't growing as much ... but it will give you a good idea ... :watchplant:

If you can I would highly recommend sexing the plants before planting ... if you can ... that way you don't waste your time on those fiflthy males:hairpull:

I don't mean to sound like I'm spewing out etiquette, or like I know everything, but it would probably be a good idea to read some sticky's on here since this forum is not a substitute for learning on your own. The people answering your questions are not here to get quick answers on simple questions.
