I have these plants, 4 of them were runts but I decided to keep them since I have the space and they will produce bud. But these runts have always been smaller and yellow than my other plants wich are green and tall. I have added 3 pictures of 2 of these plants. Now they are very yellow and they look sick. What should I do? If I have to flush them out, my water contains chlorine. What should I do to counter the chlorine?

by letting it stand the chlorine will evaropate

The more information you give us, the more we can help. What kind of soil are you using? Is the soil well aerated, and are there plenty of drain holes? What is the pH of the water that you feed with? What kind of nutrients have you fed them, and how much, how often?

Just through casual observation, I'd say that the leaves are a decent color. Yes, they are a light green color, with a bit of yellowing, but the pale green could be the strain genetics.

Those plants don't look too bad, but they do look droopy. Have you been watering them too much, too often?

What is the average daytime temperature in the room? If the temperature is too low, the plant might experience slow growth. Try to keep the temperature between 75 and 85 degrees F. At night it's good to have the temperature 10-15 degrees cooler than during the day.

Give us more information, and we'll help you figure out what to do.

Definately let the water sit out over night! its a big help. Although im sure your water doesnt contain too much chlorine or you wouldn't be drinking it.

And i agree with Ali young. more info and they actually dont look to bad.

when i flush I use Tap water for the first 2/3 then use Disstiled..and your plants dont look bad..just looks like they are about to expload in growth..and some will grow way diffrent then others...remeber you chose to keep them. give them a shot of worm tea for the yellowing..keep us posted..But most of all KEEP M GREEN :bolt::bong:

buy a gallons of distilled water and get them refilled some where. its like less than a dollar a gallon just stock up

Runts or not, they probably have nutrient lockout and I would wager that they need to be repotted. I know they aren't very big but the root system has continued to grow I assure you. Adjust your PH, feed micronutrients and repot. And yes leave chlorinated water out for 24 hours to dechlorinate. Boosh.

thats why i invested in an RO system.i got tired of hauling water.

just let water sit in 5 gal bucket for 24 hours.. chlorine will go away in the thin air... works for me.. yeah andy gotta haul the water what is RO ?

i believe RO is reverse osmosis and a way to filter your water down to 0 ppm

:yeahthat: I have since started buying 5 gallon purified filtered wated that i get at PH 6.3..I was useing Disstilleded from the store at .80 a gallon..and now i get it for .30 I dont mind the excercise of hauling ..keeps me in shape:rofl:
