My neighbour the cop!

HI all I just wanted to tell you what happened to me yesterday

I am growing 4 plants in my back yard, we have alot of cool neighbours, one of my neighbours window even over looks my yard and has seen my plants loads of times and wouldnt say a word. I know this because they saw me grow them last year too!

Anyway just across the road from me lives a cop and is also a family friend, he called around the other day to ask my dad to look at his satellite dish for him (cos thats what my dad works as) while they were talking in the kitchen my cop neighbour looks out the window only to see me tending to my babies and turned to my dad and said "is that what I think it is out there?" and my dad just smiled and they then left to have a look at the satellite dish at my neighbours. I didnt think much of it until my cop friend turned up yesterday sporting a big bag of soil and some very large grow bags and gave them to me and said "I had these in my shed only going to waste, you can have them for your plants if you like" I couldnt believe it, what a cool cop and neighbour!

As he left my house he jokingly (I think) said "I hope you will remember me when its time to harvest them plants!"
I feel like I live in some kind of twilight zone society were marijuana is legal and I feel very at ease now with growing my herb without the paranoia of getting busted

yea definately nice...just remember NEVER trust the cops...make sure you throw him some bud when you harvest, im sure that will keep him off of your case

He's on one side we are on the other......ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT!!!!
No matter family or not, his job is to bust people like us. I would never trust someone that swore to uphold the law and then turned around and not do it. Something is shady IMHO. I would not give him a bud or anything.
There are so many reasons why he ISN"T busting you.

1. See if you deal
2. see if you get more weight on the plants
3. he's crooked.

just to name a few. Don't ever trust the "enemy"
but you do have something on him. He gave you soil knowing what it is going to be used for. That makes him part of the conspiracy.

Definately...honestly if it was me i would move my plants...i dont care how nice the cop is, he can still screw you over at any given time...as far as giving him some when harvest comes, i may have been wrong...just be safe and dont do anything to incriminate yourself.

I can all understand what youre all sayin I'll defo stay cautious but I know he wouldnt! My dad told me that me and my 4 little plants are very small fish compared to the drugs around here! He knows me from growing up and my younger bro hangs out with his son

Serious, i do agree with what runby and Mutt are saying. But givin the circumstance i wouldnt really worry. I mean, if the cop were to bust you later just to be an ***, you can bring it up in court that he knew about it and asked for a bribe. He will serve more time in jail then you. And Just because cops dont "uphold the law" doesnt mean there bad cops. One of my friends dad is a cop and he is chill as hel*. You guys all hate cops cus they do bust you, and when one finally doesnt, that should be just another reason to hate them.

I agree, don't put trust in him. But do keep him close. "don't forget me come harvest" because if not he might surprise you when he comes to put you in hand cuffs LOL. i'm kidding, but i would seriously keep an eye on this one. He's obviously not trusty if he's not busting you, but then again he IS trusty if he's not busting you. get what i mean? not trusty to his oath, trusty to you...sounds fishy to me, but good luck bro, i hoep you stay on top of this one.

I never said I HATE cops. The plain and simpe truth is they SWORE an oath to uphold the law. I AM BREAKING THE LAW. That makes us on OPPOSING SIDES. Thus my enemy.
I am a father. I want cops around. I feel safer with them around with meth heads, petaphiles, theives, murderers, and god knows what else. but that doesn't mean that I want them knowing about my grow. Cool or not. The same cop that will protect my son from a degenerate WILL bust me for breaking the law.
I COMMEND law enforcement for the crap they have to put up with. I BLAME THE LAW MAKERS. But always remember we are doing something ILLEGAL. It is THEIR JOB TO ENFORCE THE LAW. We are on two different sides.

Thanks for that post Mutt. I too am a father and appreciate everything that the police do to protect us. They are just trying to uphold the law and when one day weed is legal to grow we will have nothing to worry about.

They are just people trying to be good at what they do, just like we strive to be good at what we do.

Unfortunatley their job means that they have to be sneaky, and some of them are REALLY good at it.

Just remember who and what you're dealing with ...

Well, if he gave you soil and other stuff for your grow...he's an accomplice, if you want to get legal. I'd save that bag of dirt with his fingerprints on it as a precaution.

I wouldn't neccessarily trust him. But, I would feel a little more secure because he has acknowledged your grow. He can't acknowledge a crime being commited and not arrest you for it. He will be in a ton of trouble.
