Hello everyone!
So, here's the story,
I got a small pack of seeds from a friend who gets quality Cannabis from his Medical Marijuana clinic. He has saved about 20 seeds for me to play around with. I did some research around this board and started germinating the seeds. About 6 of the 10 I was germinating actually sprouted. I got some red cups, filled them up with some potting soil, and they broke ground. It was a happy day.
I started growing them in my closet for a couple days with a weak 40 watt grow light. I knew it wasn't enough, so I got a great idea! I'll put them in my old greenhouse!

I've been growing this little "Operation" for about two weeks now and I think it is doing good.

I'm planning on re-planting them in to 5 gallon pots as soon as they get a better root system.

Heres a picture of my progress in full resolution.

Oh if you are wondering why this is a "Greenhouse" grow, its because I have and abandoned Greenhouse on my property and decided to use if for something good. :)

Thanks! I'm just using natural sunlight in a warm Greenhouse.
I know its really not the right time to grow out-doors, but it seems to be working well so far.

Anything I should lookout for?

Thanks again!

No man, looking good, they stretched a bit but that's okay caus eyou have ample room.

They look happy and healthy :)

Thanks! That good news.
I'm planning on re-planting them in bigger 5 gallon pots next week.
I'll keep everybody updated.

Just a couple n00b questions,

How do I determine the strain of my plants?
Do they look more Indica or Sativa?
When should I keep an eye out for the sex of the plants?

Thanks again!

Yeah, re-planting is needed soon. When you replant you can go ahead and bury the stem up to about the primary round leaves to decrease the height a bit.

Looks like a Sativa to me, judging by the tall skinny frame and leaves. Strand is wahtever you wanna call it unless you know where you got the beans

Trent, You have been a huge help so far! Thank you very much!
I can't wait to see these plants grow up.. It brings a tear to my eye. haha

still to early to tell if its more indica or more sativa. its a mix for sure, but if i was to say, i would go more indica with the rounder leafs.

Yeah I dunno for sure what they are. I take it they are bag seed?

They definatly look healthy though, Wiseguy, you're right it may be Indica heavy after a second look, but the height and skinny stem are trying to tell me Indica.

Do you get any wind on those babies? The stems could use some strengthening, they're probably a little on the frgile side

Thanks for the feedback guys! The seeds are from a local Cannabis club. My friend forgot to get the name of the seeds. Maybe later on when they mature we can tell.

Sativa or Indica, its fine with me! :p
Its just cool to know.

They dont really get too much wind, but suprizingly they are pretty strong. I'll be leaving the latch open on the greenhouse for now on so they can build some strength on those stems.

You guys have been awesome! Thanks again.

aside from the skinny stalk they look healthy, i would put some wind on them or supercrop them to toughen up the stalk

Cheers

I might try both actually. Wind for sure, but I'm kinda nervous about supercroping them...although it would help alot!

Thanks dude!

i would repot them soon and bury them deep.also need to put a fan on them for strength.

Update!
I've successfully replanted my plants into larger pots. :)

pics to follow soon. :)
