I made the mistake of seeing The Shining and The Exorcist when I was 14 and dreamt of Captain Howdy and chopped-up piles of children. Close Encounters and Terminator 2 gave me the creeps and Scanners had me sleeping with the lights on. Nowadays the only nightmare inducers (neither of which I watch) are Natural Born Killers and Monster House, though I had a drowning dream after seeing The Fellowship of the Ring, which I did not consider frightening.

Not a movie, but the debates sure made for a rough night's sleep! :O

I was 10 when I seen Jaws 1, it scared me. Back then when it came out everyone was a little scared to go swimming.

Seems stupid now.

scariest scene ever: hXXp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9orD-iW120

paranormal activity made me a little jumpy when I would have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Yeah the Hellraiser movies were great. When I was younger my dad let me and my two brothers watch Pet Semetary with him and for like the next 3years I was terrified that there was somebody under my bed with a knife. It was the scene where the oldman nieghbor got the back of his heals and the corners of his mouth slashed. For years I would literally jump onto my bed from 5 feet away so the kid with a knife under my bed couldn't get me. I wouldn't even let a toe slide out from under my blanket cause I thought he would get me.

just saw a new movie called "Lovely Molly" (its at Redbox atm) I highly suggest this movie. But if you're prone to nightmares I wouldn't suggest watchin' this right before bedtime....

It has a psychotic sound design along with a killer (literally) plot.

Much Love YYZ,
