So I seen a recipe to make a tincture using grain alcohol and the freezer. I’m wondering since that’s a solvent striping the oils and waxes etc, is it possible to use the same freezer method but use MCT oil instead? I understand how to make MCT using a water bath, I was just curious and a bit lazy to know if this is a viable method to extract cannabanoids? I’m sure it’ll get something just because freezer makes it critical, but is it enough to actually be a method?

Never heard of MCT. What is it?
medium-chain triglycerides. Its coconut oil.

Gotcha. Most folks use coconut oil in a crock pot to get the goodies out of the buds. Heat for MCT and cold for alcohol.
kk, I kind of figured as well. I had to ask though, todays recipes and concentrates never cease to evolve. This is really a great time to be a consumer.
