i have 30, 6 gallon pots under 4. 4 tube T5s. I'm using advanced nutrients sensi 2, part A and B only at ppm of 600 with ph of 6.3 (when I save a little money i'll get all the other additives) i water about every 5 days. the main 2 questions i have are: am i providing enough light, and are the lights too far away?

A.N. huh,lookin good.I'm happt with my results.O'm sure you'll b 2.They look nice and squat.
Keep em even.Taller to the outside,shorter directly under.Couple dayz they'll be even steven.They look GREAT,IMHO.Not tryin to put em down,but you could try keepin a fishing weight bout 3-5" above those beauties,and adjust daily(up to 5",let em grow2"then readjust to 5")

what light were u going to bud under? and def. lower those lights. you can just about touch them with the T8/T5's and the plant's lower stuff will thank you

the two taller ones have a two week head start on the others. if i lower the light the ones on the edges won't get any light. i'm going to bud under 4 lumatek 600 watt hps lights. anyone know if these kush plants like to grow tall? i have limited space so i'm trying to keep them kind of short. i don't want them to get taller than about 4 feet.

they were seeded about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. they are different strains of kush. i'm thinking of replacing the 4, T5 lights with one, 1000 watt mh light so i can fit all of my girls under the light. the grow area is 6ft x 5ft and 7ft high (completely filled with 30 plants in 6 gallon pots). would the 1000 watt be enough, any suggestions anyone?

ok, i saw a video on youtube and he had t5 lights about 3 feet away from the tops of the plants, his plants weren't stretching, can someone tell me why. search the veg room on youtube, all responses are greatly appreciated.

I had 27 under a 1k MH in a 10x4 and they exploded just fine for me. I would go with MH and keep them short and bushy. Or just grow the one main cola and keep a SOG. If you have no room to move pots around, gonna have to figure something out. Just my rookie thoughts.

ok, new plan. i will use a 400 watt lumatek mh lamp (that i already have) in the center with the 4, t5 lights around the edges. everyone should get enough light and i'll save a little money by using equipment i already have. i'm going to trim the bottoms of all of them to get one main cola and i'll try lst on one plant to try to get to hang of it. i've done some research on it and it seems to be pretty cool. thanks everyone for your comments.

thanks for watching, hopefully i can keep the kush happy during the entire grow. i decided not to use the 400 watt mh light and just rearranged the pots not everyone is getting the light they want. i took the saucers from under the pots because the pots are so close to a drain in the floor. the water just flows down the drain. i watered today with advanced nutrients sensi 2, parts A & B with a ppm of 1000 and ph of 6.3. i also gave them a misting with RO water and a drop of superthrive. the soil is foxfarm ocean something i forgot. now the T5 lights are practically sitting on top of the plants, they seem happy and when they're happy so am i. all advice, comments, and criticism are welcomed. well here are pics after rearranging the pots.

for the first time i've decided to top my girls, i feel like a pro now. hopefully it will pay off in the end. i also cut the bottom 3rd of the branches, also a first.

when i topped them i'm trying to use the part i cut off at the top as a clone, is that ok?

i'm new to cloning my cuttings look bad, is this normal?

I disagree with that distance. 3" is what you want, not 3 feet. Check my indoor gj for T5 info.

Do you hve the clones in a humidity dome? The open air will kill them quick...
