lumatek remote ballast

goint to be getting a 400 watt or 600 watt here shortly. q is....i want to use my bake a round diy cooltube instead of a factory hood. (they kick butt for ventilation.) i need to buy the all system chord set with it. will i have a problem usind my diy cooltube? and also do i have to buy a seperate power chord too? also its 240/120volt, is there a switch on there for that? i also need to know if the power chord o need to purchase will plug into a standart 120 volt house plug? i saw a great deal on this website for the ballast..hXXp://www.planetnatural.com/site/lumatex-ballasts.html..if you have any advice let me know please i appreciate it.

Unfortunately, I don't think a bake-around is large enough for either a 400W or a 600W. It is really more suited to a 150 or 250W. For larger wattage bulbs, I really like larger hoods. I shop around, checking both E-bay and Craig's List when I am looking for growing supplies. I have found some outstanding buys.

hydro store... they said it was used.. didnt look it..

when you say large enough do you meen the bulb? because i used a bake a round for a eye hortilux 400 watt bulb before...
