Discovered this today on one of my plants.
Blueberry From seed- 55 days old in veg in 2.7 gal bucket with soil (local garden store with unknown qualities/coco/perlite/worm castings.
In 6.5 X6.5 tent under 2 lights 1000W/600W HPS both ballasts in grow area, one digital one manual.
superGrow formula- 10 ml per liter strength today (but 2 days ago @ 5 ml per liter)
Just started treating with some epsom spray recently (last 4 days?)
Vented with CFM and have oscillating floor fan going most of the time speed one, tickles the plants, this one might get it strong at the end from the fan.
Temps low-mid 70's. Last night did get down to 59°. Humidity is low averaging 50%. No Co2
Was FIM'd 7 days ago.
Use PH pen, water some wait 15 min the water till I see a bit of run of. Have been without PH pen for about a week (broke my last one) but water here is fairly consistent. I let it sit open for 24 hour before using.

Let me know if you need any more details.

BTW- this plant when I pulled it out from under the HPS is the darkest green I've ever seen. Like a forest green crayon. It look normal marijuana green under HPS- not sure camera does justice.

Let me know if I need to provide any more info.

is that cal/mag def? hmmm' you won't know if the remedy worked until you pot up and it generates new un"coppered" growth...and I thought epsom was supposed to be water fed to the rootzone, not foliar fed...could be wrong tho...

tasty  you need to go get a tablespoon, mix up a gallon of water with a tablespoon of epsom salts in there . . . and feed it to em !!

The upper plant has a good dark green color, typical for varieties that are indica-side heavy . . . especially blueberry is almost always quite dark. Looks like it's getting plenty of nitrogen, but its starving for magnesium

Magnesium is the central atom in the chlorophyll molecule. Without it the plants are gonna . . . do just that . . . pull chlorophyll up to the top from the lower leaves, cuz it's got no more magnesium left to make any more chlorophyll !! Foliar feed gives em a small, quick shot. Yours need a good dose . . .

Dan- I promise I already did that this morning when I fed them. I couldn't do it sooner because they were not dry enough for a watering and didn't want to compound the problem. For a girl... I take advice pretty well ;)
I realize the spray was just a quick hit.
It almost looks like some sort of botanical and wanted to make sure there wasn't any pathogens or fungus thinking about launching an attack.
Will the damaged leaves recover at all? Or do I just look for new growth? How will I know when it is better?
Thanks for all your help and encouragement. It means a lot to me.

7g- It was this thread among others, http://www.marijuanapassion.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51399

hi tasty  you're doing a great job . . . the couple sets of lower leaves may recover some - where it's yellow, it may re-green a bit . . . where its brown and necrotic, it won't . . . but no worries, thats a minor issue, the main thing is that the necrosis should stop progressing now - just watch and make sure the growing tips green up soon after emerging and the damaged lower leaves don't continue . . . hopefully in a couple weeks you can snip those old leaves off and forget it ever happened . . . all the fan leaves above them are so thick that they're hardly getting any light anymore anyways . . . I think you will be fine now

that plant looks very nice !!

Thanks Dan, thats good to know.
I like my plants to be all healthy like. Up next my kush girls are going a little funky- I'm guessing it might be related so going to watch them carefully.

tasty  looks like you're in coco there, and it is notorious for needing cal/mag boost . . . I suggest that you water all the plants with a tablespoon per gallon of epsom salts if you haven't already . . . and if you can't get some cal/mag supplement soon, keep giving it to em once a week

Dan-
Not really in coco. I'm using the hydroton to help keep more moisture (my humidity is way lower than feels right for vegging)- And I like how it looks.
I mixed a little coco in with the soil. And that's part of how I figured out the magnesium... someone mentioned on another thread how coco is notorious for what you mention. Maybe is was even you!
No Cal/Mag in site yet- but will keep looking. So Epsom it is for now.
I did get all the plants so that should help. Plus this one is older than the majority of my grow so hopefully caught it in time for the other ones.
