I've heard nothing but good reviews for these cheap HPS's, but my question (sorry to kinda hijack) is where to find a good cheap veg. light? Anyone order one of the MH lamps that are also on the site? or are people just using their CFL's to veg?

i veg with floro's and just add some of my cfls when i got the my cheap hps. i got two of them and since i added a reflector they're nice..

You can, but you will use more electricity and get (substantially) less yield with CFLs.

How big is your space? How big is your plant?

Its in a 4x4x6 The plant is strecing & 5ft but thin needs to veg for a time .
I lost all my lights is the storm in tx. So money is short . I was thinking of going to ebay & geting on of those 400 hps the plant is in a water farm what do you think ?
