Lights Question

I saw HPS and MH light bulbs at Home Depot. They say they do not have the ballasts for them. How can I use one of the 100 watt MH from Homne depot for veg with my cfls? Do mI need a Ballast? Is there a special light fixture I can buy to install in my growbox. Im over exausting so heat really isnt a problem for me.

"ALL" HID's require a ballast. All flourescents require a ballast. The flo's are simply "built into" the fixture or the bulb(cfl's).
HD probably carries a "security light" that has a ballast built into the fixture to accomodate a 100 mh. I know my local outlet has the 70 w hid security lights.
