Lighting Questionnn

Hi everyone, I have a question concerning the lighting for the growing of 2 (3 plants max) plants. Instead of spending tons of money on MH and HPS lamps, would multiple full spectrum fluorescent lamps suffice?

sure so long as the ammount of lumen is attained for the square footage of your box
