light questions

right now i only got a 15 cw white light on them but i got another light but i dont now if it will work it is like a work light it is 60 hz 110v 500wis this to strong?

I don't really understand your abbreviations. Sorry. However, I do know you can never have too much light, just too much heat. So, keep the temp low and use the correct spectrum and you should be golden.

Sounds like though's 500 watt quartz lamps that are a work light on a stand.
They are the wrong spectum and put out tons of heat.

so far theres only 3 types of lights you can use,
Fluorescent lights ( CFL or long tubes), HPS (High Pressure Sodium- yellowish color) and MH (Metal Halyde i think, Whitish color).

so most likely what you have isntt working,..

if youre serious about growing any kind of MJ i would get the correct lighting, if budget is an issue you can start with CFL's for the first couple of weeks of vegging till you get some more cash.. good luck.. :aok:

thank you grow dude i been tryin to find out if i could use that light ur right its the one with the stand and lots of heat i have not used it thank godi only got a 15 watt floro on my plant now but its only about 3 inchs tall its lookin good right now.
