LED's

Has anybody tried LED's or had any experience with them? Either as a suppliment or main lighting? The power savings and decreased heat productions make them a little apealing. I was planning on testing a couple of plants side by side (one with a 400w hps, one with leds, and one with both) to see what if any differences there are. Any ideas or experience? Thanks

I've followed a few LED grows on this site, and on others, and not one of them has been anyway comparable to a 400W HID grow.

IMHO they're only good for growing lettuce

If you want to spend a lot of money buy LEDs. If you want big fat sticky buds buy HIDs.

You can grow with LED's...just if you want more than a gram per plant stick with HID's...

NASA does not use them to grow weed in space....
