A few days ago I had to go away and when I got back my light was way too close to my girls and the big fan leaves were curled up and waxy looking. It has been a few days and they are still curled up. Will they come out of it? Or is there another problem that might cause this?

'damaged' growth won't repair itself. Watch the new growth for symptoms now.
yes, there are other issues that might cause 'curling' fans, ph, deficiencies, ect.

Im sure Hick will say NO..as many feel that they hould be left alone...me I will remove If she looks Bad.....Really...who wants to look at Ugly Females:spit:

take care and be safe

ususally even a damaged leaf can still contribute to the plants growth. the plant will reject it when it is no longer useful. you could cut them off but it could cause additional stress. who cares if you have a few ugly leaves...
some people say if its more than 50% damaged it should be removed.

I've found a few shots of tequila fixes ugly fem's pretty well..

I left the leaves alone. I figured if there of no use to the plant then they would die off. That's a good one Hick!

^^ that is the correct course of action. how did it turn out?

I had a few plants i messed up recently and had to chop early. I accidently starved them of nutes durring flower and all the foliage began to die. I only saved one and fed it with a ton of nutes. this gol-darnedplant shed EVERY single fan leave/ foliage but i still pushed it about 3 more weeks.it looked like a plant that someone was harvesting it was just stems, huge buds, and the "sugar" leaves. it was amazing actually. It pretty much lived off the energy generated by the buds and thats it... plants are so amazing at times.

Their will to survive and reproduce is amazing....... we push the repo cycle and yet prevent it from happening..... most of the time.:D
