what is going on? could my light be the wrong spectrum? it says that it is rated at a good quality sunlight spectrum. i think im going to ditch the floros for a 250 watt halide. and a 600 watt sodium. anybody know where i can get a really cheap set up? any input will be thanked

ill get batteries for my camera real soon so you guys can help me diagnose the problem. the growbible metntions nothing about underfertilization only toxicity.

it could be a lack of some nute or another too what kind of soil are you using and how much of the tip is doing this? is it just curling or is it burnt

sounds like a PH problem to me and a bit of lockout to boot.... maybe flush em and not worry about the light as cfl wont couse that to happen

here it is..i dont think it is a watering issue. what do you think?

I was about to say the same... I dont think thats the root of your problem, mine are doing the same thing... except they are a foot tall. But bring the light closer, and flush em out real well just to make sure. If you plan on growing seriously, spend the 15 bucks on a Ph meter and it will help you a lot. Its not a lot of money when you think about how much your saving from growing.

you know, my plants did that when i got the light too close. just the tips would curl down. check out my grow journal and see if yours look about like mine.

fed my plant some miracle grow 15-20-15 full strength....seems to be working. ill post a pic soon.

im not sure how long this feeding will work. this is designed for flowering plants. i was treating a lack of nitrogen. check out my post in the general gardening section, i found a good source for nitro and guano.
