hello, i have some plants that are starting to get too tall. to keep them from being noticed, i tide them down to about a 45 degree angle. i realize that l.s.t is usually done at the beginning stage, but my question is regarding the growth of my plants. will tying them down is this fashion slow down the growth and put too much stress on my plants. i pulled my plants outwards and now there is this open area for the sun to hit the lower pre-flowers. any suggestions would be helpful.
thanks
boydee (almost all pots are buried in the ground)

YO! boydee.........Tying em dont seem to do nothing negative to the plants....I know Ive got sativa probs at the mo......hehe.....Ty em where you need....I sometimes loop the whole plant....(ty the top down back against the main stem) careful not to snap it though....all that happens is the plant sticks its head back up in about 24 hrs and carries on...:)

I had to do the same thing to one of my plants about an hour ago. Im two weeks into flower and I just had to tie down one of my plants because it is too tall. It doubled in height just in the first two weeks of flower and got about six inches from my hps so I just tied it down so now it is shaped like the letter r. Never done it before but I think you should be fine. And hopefully Im alright too.

hello, thanks for the reply's. isn't mj the most amazing plant to grow?
can't wait!!!!!!!!!!
thanks,
boydee
