I was wandering if anyone could tell me if anything is worng with these three plants. They all have different things going on. Each plant is from a different strain, bagseed from really good strains (one purp strain, one train wreck, and one just really good dro that i dont know the strain..

They are about 3weeks old grown from seed

I hve them all in seperate 2 gal pots.

as you can see i have some yellowing on the bottom round leaves, and one plant appears to be stunted terribly. One of the plants is stretching out and looks like it wont be able to support itself.

do these plants look small for 3 wks?

how long until they can be sexd?

yes for three weeks they are very small. what kind of lights and nutes are you useing, ph of your water?????

I am at mother namtures mercy with the light. growing outdoors, gets direct sunlight and indirect sunlight. Im not using any nutes because I planted them in MG soil, which already has nutes in it, so i didnt want to give too much. Im using bottled, water to give it a drink.......

okay so i thought they were small... what can I do,, at this rate of growth it will take forever....please help...

you need to ph the water you are giving your plants. the ph needs to be between 6.0-7.0.

ive ehard of certain phenotypes that dont like nutes, fert, for the first month. I doubt that thats the culprit. under/over water? where did you get them from?

think of it like this you and i and plants need three major things to live. good air, good light, and good water!!!!!!!!

the ph of the water is about 6.8 when i test it. I do not know how to test the ph of the soil, i didnt think it was necessary because of the MG soil, I figured it should be the right PH....
seeds are bagseed from several differentr strains. One is a purp strain and on is i believe trainewreck....

i have these in posts because direct sunlight varys and I have to chase it around sometimes.

should i be keeping these guys in light all the time? right now they get about 12-14 hrs with most being direct sunlight.

they look pretty healthy to me, but what do i know....they are just really small....

any suggestions to nutes or something that I can bulk these guys up with?

there has been alot of rain and it has been cloudy for the last week here. I bring them inside when it rains....could this be the culprit...

Anything over for the water ph is hard water not good and your soil ph should be 7 or 6.5. If this helps. Your watering them fine.

What type of MG are you using?
Soil looks compacted needs to be loosen up so the plant gets air.

The MG Moister Control has a higher N then P and K.

I transplanted with fox Farms Ocean Forest they are growing crazy now.

When your bring the plants in are you using lights.
If so what light are you using?

That's gotta be it. I don't know why, but when I used Miracle-Gro Organic Choice on my last grow, the seedlings' growth was stunted and there were signs of PH issues.

I'm going to assume that ALL Miracle-Gro soils cause PH issues which will result in extremely slow growth. I am using FoxFarm Light Warrior and Ocean Forest right now, and even the seedlings that were planted directly into Ocean Forest are thriving. No PH issues whatsoever, and the organic nutrients in it are perfect strength... you don't need to feed it nutrients until at least 3 weeks into the grow yet the organic nutrients already in the mix aren't at all too strong for even young seedlings.

one plant is still going and shows none of those signs, just te smallness....

so where do I locate this soil all of you have reccomended? Im in louisiana, should a garden shop have this?

Fox Farms I found at aimees hardware store other nurseries should carie it. I will look it ok just to be for sure.

thanks. I found somewhere close by. I will be transplanting asap. Any tips on how to go about this?

Very careful not to damage the roots transfer from one container to the new container what ever size you want to transfer to. Make sure the new container has the new soil filled half way in the new pot before the transplant. Thats what I did. I transfered from a one gallon to a five gallon container. It's your choice.

The problem with MG is it alters the PH when liquid is added, so you carefully check the PH of your water, then check it again after you have added nutrients in case the nutients have altered the waters PH ... now here is the problem section .... once you add your PH stable liquid to the MG ... the MG alters the soil PH and if you do not have a soil PH meter you do not know what PH the plant is being forced to survive in, the cure for this is ... soak the plant with your PH correct water/feed and capture the water/feed that comes out the bottom of the pot, you check THAT for PH and you then know what PH the plants roots are living in, you will need to alter the PH of the liquid before you give the water/feed to be out of normal PH levels for cannabis (6.4 - 7) so when it is in the soil the MG brings the PH to correct levels, so a soil PH meter or PH meter to check the run off is needed, want to know how to save money and trouble and messing about???? .... DO NOT USE MG OR PRE NUTED GROW MEDIUMS!
