So I ordered some pairs of the hydro farm clippers that 4u recommended. Searched on amazon, ordered from a seller called HYDRO GALAXY. Do not purchase from these Aholes!!!! So they were supposed to be her yesterday. Instead we get a call they were returned undeliverable. They have our address correct even. The jerks straight up tell my wife we have 2 options, repay for shipping or they are charging us a restocking fee! So livid. I will never buy from they again. HYDRO GALAXY SUCKS! Just fair warning how they treat their customers. Sorry, end rant

So sorry for the troubles ston...never heard of the company..Do ya not have any grow shops where you live?...I think HomeDepot even sells a Nice pair...titaniums spring loaded.

I've got two pairs of fiskars. Just adding to the collection for helpers in the mere future. It was just the first seller that had them on an amazon search. The hydro store had em for twice as much. Just irritated at the crap service. Nickel and dining for moreover when they had the correct info. Ugh. Just a heads up of sorts

What a bummer ston...I almost ordered from them cause they had a great deal, but decided to stay local just in case...Now I am sure glad I did after hearing of your encounter.

It's was only like 5 bucks, but still.... Ya know. Comp shopping an file an issue with the post office. They def lost a return customer...

Stupid auto correct from my phone... Being stoned doesn't help either haha

Ston_Loc,
Put some pressure on them via Amazon. I had the same sort of issue with a delivery for my sis at christmas time (a nice little magic flight box) - the vendor gave me a bunch of "we can't do anything" - "it's too late" - called Amazon to let them know I was frustrated and that the address was correct in the order with them.
Next thing I knew- call from sis- she had the package in hand.
Worth a shot- and at least you'll get it out of your system. :)

My Girl said report them to...ripoff dot com..

Why was the package returned undeliverable? What did the seller do wrong? There has to be more to the story. It doesn't make sense. What really happened?

Nothing more to the story. I ordered 4 pairs of trimmers, they had my correct address. Only way to get them was to pay 5 bucks after the fact. Going to put them on blast and negative feedback once I receive them

I do not see that Galaxy Hydro did anything wrong and I am not sure why you are blaming them for this screw up? I personally thinking a neg rap is unfair. This sounds like the fault of the post office, not the seller. If they had the correct address on the package, it is the post office's fault. It DOES cost money to reship or restock. Many of these retailers on Amazon keep their mark-up very small to compete. You cannot expect them to pay extra because the post office screwed up, can you?

That's their issue to deal with with the post office then, getting credited shipping. I purchased a product, paid shipping, and gave correct shipping address. Calling me saying you have to pay us to reship or we are charging your card restocking fee is straight up shady. Nothing I did wrong, and whether they are purposely nickel and diming me, or just the post office sucks, it is their issue to deal with. Bad customer service and business practice in general

No, it isn't their job to deal with your local post office. I do not know of any company that would or does. I understand you being upset at having to pay more, but I still do not see this as the fault of Galaxy Hydro. They have no control over the post office--it would be impossible for them to have any influence over your mail delivery. Your beef should be with the people who deliver your mail. I simply do not see this as a bad business practice or in any way shady on the part of the retailer--they did their part. I don't know of any company that will take responsibility/pay for the post office's screw-up. Have you talked to your post office/mail carrier?

Well we differ in opinion. I don't see how the buyer is in any way responsible. And hydro galaxy guy copping attitude to my wife like its our fault instead of eating 5 bucks on a $50 purchase is just bad business in my opinion. The shipping wasn't their fault I presume thy labeled the package well, but the handling of the situation lost them a return customer.

Exactly.....and a restocking fee?-that is a hunk of crap-restocking is something every business should do and is not something you wait around to charge a customer who is already waiting on their goods.

If it was my business, I would have covered the reship-then I would be on that P.O. like a heart attack.
Thanks ston-I'll put them on no-list

I recently had an order of screens I ordered from a vendor on Amazon. The screens never showed up ...at my place or at the sellers. When I asked status of the order and we determined it was no where to be found, he sent out new ones at his cost. I gave him great feedback.

It is customer service I expect but also appreciate.

Order arrived today. Was clearly the post office's fault on the initial delivery, but still. I stand by my frustration with the way the seller handled the situation.

Aside from that, the clippers 4u2 recommended are awesome!!! Gonna get some good use come this weekend :48:
