Hello SmokinMom, Mutt and all members I am ColoradoLady and new to this forum. I am here to learn and offer any knowledge I have when needed. I have smoked since 1958 and yep! I'm an old timer and grower. My present seeds are 8 to 10 years old now and not very viable, so I am looking at seeds. Have decided on a couple of strains but have a question. Does altitude make much of a difference? Now at 6000 feet.
Thanks for any advice that you can give. And THANKS to tcbud and Hick for welcoming me so nicely when I was inquiring about your site.

Howdy Co lady. :48:
i don't think its altitude you gotta worry about but the length of growing season. If your outdoor farmer...I'd prolly go with a hybrid. Not a pure sat. They can take too long and the cold weather might get ya in the end. I'm sure some of the other Co. growers could help ya out in that dept. ;)
Glad to have ya and hope you enjoy your stay. :D

higher altitude is actually theorized/reported, to increase thc and trichome production..:)
...aren't the oak brush's and aspens pretty right now?..;)

Good Morning Hick
Thanks for the welcome, and yes the aspens WERE pretty until night before last when we had 22 degrees. Now leaves are dropping like flys. But, coming from Montana, I like this later fall weather just fine. Growing anything in Montana took real creativeity with wall o waters and rami clothe etc....Thanks again
