increasing light intensity

garden is 2ft wide,2ft tall,4ft long. 400 watt hps with diy cool tube.170cfm inline exhaust fan emptying cool tube and garden.flood and drain table set up,media is pea gravel for easy flushing.all walls are foil tape and the foil bubble wrap stuff.

all girls were pulled over and tied so whole plant recieved light. clones from bagseed mothers,indica dominant strain. maxi bloom by general hydroponics,and kool bloom for later.

question because of the restrictive size of this box does not the light intensity increase,and penitration? my idea being that most lights are hung above the plants alot higher than this . so the light just bounces around until absorbed by the plant right?

25 days of 12/12 now. temps stay at 70 to 80 f . so it works,i know that. but what kind of yield could one get from this?

Welcome! Are you sure about those dimensions? If so, your area is quite vertically challenged. There is just no room for any growth with the light in there. Got a pic?

It seems to be working out with the light you have, because you have a good temperature range.

man i screwed up and put 3 pix in the gallery sorry.
the girls are clones from bag seed. they were vegged to 6 inches tall then switched lights to 12/12. at 13 days of 12/12 i started bending and tying down.trying to use empty spaces in the canopy i was trying to create.never cutting leaves but tucking to expose new budsites. at about 20 days i quit my training. now i tuck a leaf here and there.i have 2 empty spots in my canopy but this is first run on cab.mix of methods employed.s.o.g. (smaller clones 11 6").scrog (training during flowering stretch,after day 13).the light restriction thing(limited size of cab to keep light in small area).well it's a 4:00 a.m. before work brainstorm of mine. thanx for the welcome by the way.

that temp is with fan dial on the low range.still have 2 and 3 left on dial. well guys am i a fruitcake or what ? i'm tired of paying for grass. so i put a garden in my buddies gaurage.
