Ill admit it, Im a newb, BUT....

Hello MP. I have been a long time lurker but I finally have the need to begin posting. I love this site and it is deff one of the few reliable sites out there.
I am currently going on my first cab grow and I have 5 beautiful girls (hashberry, diesel, bluebonic and 2x strawberry cough) and its getting close to their time to switch over to flowering.
I built my box from a cab I bought (~2ft x 3.5ft x 5.5ft). I am using a 400 watt air cooled HPS, passive intake and a 4" 200+ CFM exhasut fan which is also cooling the light. It has been very hot in town and temps were getting high (84-88+ during the hottest times) until I installed an AC unit in the room (now temps are running ~70-73 while dark and 80-82 while light).
I also have a small aphid problem (came with my clones) but I will be putting the sticky strips in today and starting a neem treatment either today or tomorrow. Hopefully that will take care of the bug problem.
