i wanted to step things up and run two 600 hps in a 10.2 sqf closet i wanted to air cool the lights i was thinking of using a 225cfm inline with a booster between them then running the ducting up to the crawl space...does anyone thing this will work at adequetly cooling the lights and if the fan is blowing the air from the closet it will work for cooling and exhause right? i have never air cooled light before also i was not sure as to what to use for an intake fan any input is appreciatted thanks :hubba:

That fan should do the job if those are glass enclosed refelectors. Only try to have the fan pulling air through both of the lights, if you have the fan pushing air through a light, it pushes hot air out of all the cracks in your system, this doesn't happen if it pulls through everything...

great advice...heres how i run mine..now like Blanco asked...hope these are glass enclosed hoods...put that inline fan at the intake flex hose to and conect the to lights...then the Vortex pulling threw the light fixtures and outta grow area..No need for scrubber but could be hooked here,,Hope this helps..take care and be safe:bolt::bong:

I pull from a scrubber through my 1000w with a 178cfm can-fan and my temps are at 79 12 inches from light, which I am sure will be lower when I get my ocillating fan moving more air from under it.
