Our flood tables are made with the finest virgin ABS plastics, sparing no expense to bring you the highest quality and level of durability available with today's technology. The competition uses a much lower quality styrene plastic that does not hold up to consumer expectations. Our ABS plastics are extremely durable and hold up to shipping and use in cold weather. Our flood tables are grooved with proper irrigation channels to help keep your plants at their healthiest. The table's black color helps prevent the growth and spread of algae. As shown in the corresponding table, we offer the highest of quality plastics to you in a variety of sizes to fit your needs and at a low enough price to fit your pocket book.

C.A.P. strongly believes that the only way to design and manufacture controllers is the right way.
The right way means understanding what expectations our customers have when they make an investment in our products, and designing and manufacturing controllers that meet or exceed their expectations. The right way means paying attention to details and not cutting corners.
We are constantly striving to produce the most innovative products in our industry. We use only the finest quality components to ensure many years of trouble-free operation. We will only build products that conform to our stringent safety standards. We back our products with the best warranty in the industry, our 3 year "no hassle-no problem" product warranty. All of C.A.P.'s products are assembled in the USA.

WHAT A JOKE!!!
I recently purchased one of these hydrotek tables from discount hydroponics. 2'x4'x6" I can't even express how anger I am with the manufacturer as well as the stores that carry this tray. It is advertised as a 2'x4'x6" tray when in truth the tray is 1.5'x3.5' inner diameter. That is false advertisement. Also to say "Our flood tables are made with the finest virgin ABS plastics, sparing no expense " They spared cost majorly on this tray! It is thin like a piece of paper and not to mention all the plastic they saved making it so damn small! I wish I had went with the Botanicare. It is far far more thicker and it is actually what they say it is 2'x4' for the same price. On the hydroponic website forums I visit I will be posting this to warn everybody about hydrotek GARBAGE! I will tell everyone who I run across or talk with just to spread word of this false advertisement garbage of a tray! To make sure in the future nobody has to be disappointed like I am by hydrotek GARBAGE!

Sincerly,
One Pissed Off Consumer

Right on dude...

I was thinking about tables...a sincere thanks for saving me that lil' bit of aggravation..

sorry that you spent your hard earned cash though...:(

Yeah me too. Bg Hydro has a botonicare black tray 2'x4' i'm looking at for 46$$. I'm stuck on the black tray but they have alot of white botonicare trays everywhere. In all the hydro stores anyway. They are way thicker then those hydrotek trays like they should be.

I have 3 plants in my veg room that are out growing the tray and it really hit home the size of the tray and the aggravation set in. I had to spread the word so nobody else would waste there money on this product. I e-mailed every hydro supply site that carried the tray as well as the manufacture and CAP that first post I made.

yeah...that sucks man...

what about their so called "gaurantee"? maybe you can get some $ back

I didn't even think about it. I figure the cost for me to box and ship it back. Then wait. I have plants going what would I do about that. I see just cut my losses and buy a better tray. Spread the word as I have done here. Plus the guarantee is probally against product breaking.

Some replies I have recieved so far:
Hello Mr. *****,

Thanks for the information. We are not so happy with them ourselves. We had them send a 4x4 to a customer and they sent him the wrong one, then pretended like we did not know what we were talking about – but we later found out they did know they sent the wrong one because they had molded the 4x4s wrong and only had different models from what is pictured. Although please don’t pass this along because we don’t want them to be mad at us since we do business with them.

At your service,
***

Hi ****,

We are sorry to hear about your bad experiance with Hydrotek and Discount Hydroponics. We, HorticultureSource.com are not affiliated with either one of those companies although we do sell Hydrotek brand trays. These trays are available from multiple suppliers and we are surprised to hear your bad experience. They had been good trays, perhaps they have started to try to cut corners to save a few dollars? We may have to see about removing Hydrotek products from our offerings. Thank you for letting us know. We do know CAP requires all RMAs go directly through them:

C.A.P. (866) 476-9768 Fax (951) 343-3088

They should take it back, credit the reseller so they can refund you.
Best regards,

Sorry about the frustration of not getting what they say there sending, plus the money.
I just had a bad run in with a place called StealthHydro.com. So stay away from them also. Sent me a bad ballast and I had to pay to send it back(all most $40.00), Just yesterday I found that they sent a bad Metal Halide Bulb. Get up in the morning and my lights are off, I think it's the timer, unplug it plug it back in light comes on. Then nothing, I had a extra M/H, I put it in and now it works like it should. I could go on but I won't.

It would be nice to have a thread where these leaches can be exposed and we can rate the good company's. I for one would have loved to been able to see a review. I hope that we have saved some people the PAIN and money.

That sucks, sorry to hear that. In there defense the package carriers are so rough with packages. DHL seems to be the best. UPS shipments the box is in rough shape upon delivery. Fed-ex they like crushing boxes. I ordered a lighting system from the hydro source. It was shipped by Fed-Ex upon arrival my box was crushed ripped down the side and lid was open fragile tape ripped to the side. There was a string of packing peanuts from road to door. US order from cali.

As far as a review thread I think that is a outstanding idea! You should post that at the bottom in "Website Suggestions" forum. I know in the seed bank forum I have read up on bad seed banks. Very helpful so we don't bring them business and loss money.

indoor growing forum has a sticky much like you're thinkin about $

HMMMM Stealth Hydro just opened a shop not to far from where I live, I've heard them advertising on my local radio station. I checked their website when I was looking for a new fan...and at least the price of that was so rediculous that I did not even consider it. I'm glad I didn't do business with them, now that I think about it , I think we talked about you getting ripped by them in the Introduce yourself section. I never made the connection until now. They must be a new "chain" hydro store...or franchise...hmmm sorry to hear about ya'lls luck! I had my 600w hps sent UPS that I bought on ebay, and it was an air cooled reflector, so it had the temperd glass lense...in a thousand peices when I got it. The light worked bu I had to get new glass for it. The guy sat the thing down hard when he came to get my sig, laid it on it's side, I chewed his butt...but I could tell he could care less. He was long gone before I realized the glass was broken.

Yeah I got a yieldmaster 6" reflector and the clasps that holds the lens were bent. Luckly it was over carpet when i was testing light and bulbs because lens fell.

I work on platforms they use MH and HPS bulbs for lighting outside. So I have free bulbs as long as I work out there. Well MH bulbs anyway. The HPS bulbs are 250w all that I have found so far. This past week was the first time I had noticed. The MH I found so far are 400's and 600's. Phillips bulbs. This is going to be awesome because as you know those agro bulbs are pretty expensive like 100$$. Will these bulbs work for growing?

I want to veg using a 400w MH and the T5 floros I have already.

Heck yeah they will work...I got 2 400w phillips from work, they changed all the bulbs and had 2 brand new ones left over. I told my boss that those were the same size my folks had in their barn...he gave them to me...lol, can't beat the price. They may be a little different than the agro bulbs, but for the price I can work with them.

hell yeah thanks for the info. The guys on the rigs will just give them to me. Its just getting them home without them breaking is the prob. I guess I could just carry 2 in at a time from every rig I go out to. I should have a nice stock pile after a couple months to last a good while.
