I am growing hydroponically and about to start my flowering stage. can I use a 24 hour light cycle to speed up the process? what disadvantages would there be if it is an option?

Whether you are growing in soil or hydroponically, your light needs are the same. There is NO way to speed up the flowering process--it takes what it takes. Since you say that you are ready to start the flowering process, we can probably assume that you are not growing autos?

You will need a 12/12 light schedule to induce flowering. The dark period has to be completely dark without any breaks in the dark or any light leaks. What kind and size of light are you planning on using to flower? How big is your space?

Just what are "autos"?

If they are strains that go into flowering without any help from the grower, what strains are AUTO and how do they become AUTO?

What is the cycle of the autos and how do they produce -- quality and quantity?

Thanks for the information.

Search the lowryder grows or the auto grows in the grow journal section. I know Hamster Lewis has an auto grow journal going.
