How many males are needed to pollinate?

I want to start making my own seeds. What would be the proper ratio of girls to boys. I'm new at the breeding thing, but have been growing a few years. I have some sweet plants and want to combine there qualities.

how exactly do you figure that pollinating a female with a male, creates hermies? How do you think seeds are made?

and i think it only takes 1 pollen sack or 2 to pollenate a female not the whole plant JMO

I just meant that they would be pollinated. Not hermies, just pollinated. Hermies would be from like stress.
