I don't have to worry about over watering. I grow in fabric pots in Texas. I water every day because they dry out due to the heat. So my water regimen is easy peasy.
That’s just it. The key I think is consistently. Temp. RH, VPD, light, feed, water consistently maintained will result in good flowers. I like to think of it as the three inputs, light, feed, and water. Keeping those in balance should result in nice plants. I’m rambling, sorry, late night, too much coffee. . .Light pots, ‘dry’ soil, yes. Drying to the pont of wilting for me is a hard no.
Also damaging roots is a hard no for me.
