So today I finally did what I've been threatening forever. I told my messy daughter that all her toys would be gone when she got home from school. I am sooo tired of her keeping a messy room and not taking care of her toys and clothes. She looked sad and asked if her room would be all empty except for a mattress on the floor when she got home and I said yes. :D I stuck to my guns! I am seeing an improvement already. ;)

So after I got 3 bags full of trash, 2 full loads of laundry and crap for a garage sale, I decided to take a break and smoke my pipe....I love my new pipe. The bowl is a little bigger, and the stem is longer. Hits real good. :headbang: Then I decided to check email. My cumminities online, etc....

It's been about an hour .

Where the heck did my motivation go? I was so gung-ho earlier. :p :)

Smokin got to love them kids,I got 7,6 boys and a girlAnd i went through the same thing with ONE and the rest fell right in place.Way to stick with your guns.

holy crap berserker! you got 76 boys???... damn

lol the bad effects of weed :( i never take a hit before say study time, cause i'll end up doing that.. "Hmmm, let's check my e-mails. Hmm, let's check MP, hmm..." 3 hours later I'm like :O holy crap

LOL...

Let me say that I am letting her keep her bed. ;)

I've gotten rid of her doll house and stupid doll furniture, a zillion barbies and barbie stuff, countless stuffed animals, and junky pastic happy meal toys and party favors...lol. Not to mention all the actual trash I found : candy wrappers, dried up markers and pens, broken pencils, drawings and little notes she and her friends write, all sorts of stuff. I tackled her closet and under her bed too. Doing good, making progress. I did find my motivation a little while ago,, but now it's lunch break. :D

Sounds like my room.... except for the barbie dolls of course:D

Man, I use to dread my mom doing those spurratic cleanings of my room. I was always afraid she'd find something that wasn't supposed to be there, even though I thought I didn't have anything bad. But maybe I'd forgotten about something, ya know. nervous times...

I've done that to my 4 year old more than once in is already young life.. AHH the Goodwill loves when my truck pulls up lol..
Now we gots rules, every day before nap and every night before bed the room gets cleaned..... period.. otherwise no t.v at bed...

lol my son would die without his thomas the train video at night... so you best bet he cleans that room!

When my son went back to 5th grade after the holidays I started getting phone calls from his teacher. "John isn't paying attention in class", "John is throwing grapes" (no lie), ridiculous stuff. So she called me for the 4th time around Feb 5 to tell me he's not paying attention in class and he's not doing his homework. I talked to her for a while and come to find out mid-terms are coming out in a few days. So I told her make sure you give John exactly what he deserves. When he brings home his mid-term on Feb 10 he's got 4 D's and an F :bs: . Sooooo, I put him on "restriction" for the entire month of February. He could go to school, or sit in his room and read or do homework. After school and on weekends, no TV, no video games, no skateboard, no playing outside (except for baseball) no nothing. Anytime he wanted to do anything the answer was "no, you are on restriction".

So believe me, February wasn't a whole lot of fun around here!!! LOL, thank God the grounding seems to have worked, because I don't think I could stand another month!!! Later.
