I couldn't stay away, got some bag seed in fox farms ocean forest mixed with a little extra perlite. Finally settled in with work and got bills caught up, I'll be doing hydro buckets in the future. Day 2 for this one showing off though. Hope you pot smoking hippies have been well!

Looking good. So what ya doing in there? We're a nosy lot..lol

Just curious about your setup. I may learn something.
Just got a little 2x2x4 tent, cheap "blurple" light from amazon on 16/8 light timer and little therm/hydrometer. Nothing special at all. Same thing I've been running if you look at my older posts. It's done pretty decent before but I need to upgrade tent, light, and get one of those DWC hydro buckets, then I'll really be in business lol. Updated photos again

Looking good friend. I see ya mentioned dwc earlier. Great method of growing and a lot different than what your doing now. Once dialed in the growth rate is crazy fast. I had one going when I started up in Nov last year. Couldn't control the water temps. The roots took the hit and started dying. I needed a water chiller to keep down the water temps. I abandon it and transplanted it all into promix. Next time I'll have a chiller ready to go. But for now peat moss is doing the job.

What were the temps getting up to? I had an aerogarden once haha it was a noticeable difference in seeds I started in it versus soil seemed to me. I want to get a better light, a larger tent, and move to hydro since I only do little grows.

My res temps kept creeping into the 70s. Before long I had slimy pale brown roots. I had to rip them from the netpots and plant in promix. Damaged roots caused a stunted growth but they turned out delicious.
I thought I could get away with slightly higher temps but not so..they warned me..lol

If ya can handle frequently watering plants coco is a awesome road to go. I think growth in coco is very similar to hydro without having to deal with res temps.

It's pretty easy to hit that 35w per sqft in a small space. I'm running a 480w in a 4x4. That only gives me 30 per sqft but it's doing the job. I got nice solid bud last grow. I really need to add more power to my setup but for now I'm growing my *** off..lol

I remember when I use to grow in DWCs.
Had to keep frozen water bottles in my rez to keep it around 68f.
Was to big a pain in the *** so I went back to soil.

I hear that. I was doing exactly that for that grow and it still failed. I'll not attempt that again without a water chiller. Years ago I just rested the dwc on the concrete in the basement. Always kept the water cool. Doesn't work so well in a apt. I'm sticking with peat. Much less to worry about.

Day 30 roughly from seed popping to now. Bent some fan leaves down, topped it about 3 days ago and it's doing good! No stunting I've noticed and stinks, just flipped to 12/12 yesterday and also cut it after the 6th set of leaves.

Yeah I just can't wait until I've got a bigger tent and can grow em a little more. I feel like it's wasted potential keeping em small
It's all good experience your chalking up and when ya do move into a bigger tent you'll be ready. Just always keep in mind more is not always better in plant numbers in small places. A well vegged feminized photo needs at least a 4sqft of space to develop properly. In my multi grow thread I have 8 plants in a 4x8. Each has their own 2x2space and they have filled it easily. I'm wanting to do a Scrog in there next grow but will drop back to probably 4-6 plants total under the screen.
I'm anxious to see ya grow in a bigger space. I think you'll rock it outta the park.
