grow question

I am about to plant a few clones outdoors and I was wondering if it would create a problem if i were to use filter cloth to seperate the natural soil with my plants soil . I was also gonna use some mulch on top and was wonderin if that would be o .k

Yeah thats all stright but you would have to let the clones harden first and root then you can put them outside and i wouldnt seperate the soil with the natural soil the roots will grow out longer and the plant will grow bigger!!!
