When I was in Taipei a few years back, I was amazed(and terrified) by the locals ingenuity in their use of motor scooters as pickup trucks and soccer mom vans. The best examples were a man with 3 five foot tall high pressure tanks strapped to his scooter, one man with a 6 ft x 6 ft piece of 1/2” thick plate glass strapped to his scooter and a family of 5(including an infant) weaving in and out of city buses in heavy traffic all in a single scooter.
