I was browsing ballast and reflector when I ran across the "Glass Tube Reflector"

I just aint gettin the concept of something. Its at Hid Hut. Here it is (xx=tt)

hxxp://www.hidhut.com/catalog/glass-tube-reflector-p-401.html

I know it must be obvious but I just aint getting it.

Any idea?

It's a cool tube, complete with reflector. Not a bad price, either :hubba:.

Hook your fan up to 6 inch hose and suck air through the tube and vent the hot air out the other. IMO, cool tube is the way to go when cooling HIDs.

Oh. Ok. Thank You. You can actually get a digital ballast, HPS bulb, & reflector at that site for $160. It looks like the cheapest made stuff they had but someone looking to get started could run for a year on it, couldnt they?

I don't have a digital ballast, so I can't tell you anything about them. There are many digital ballast fans here, though. They will want to know who made it first off :). Ballasts, in general, last much longer than a year, though :). Happy growing :). Tomatoes :hubba:?

Thank You.
I do actually grow several different tomatoes. Tomatoes Good.

Expensive tomatoes, too, under an HID :). You might want to take a look at that THCTomato thread...

Nah, I grow tomatoes outside. Spring Crop, Summer Crop, and Fall Crop. I am in the part of texas where we can grow those 3 seasons outside.

I'm aint gonna take the bite and look for no THC Tomato thread, that was a good try though :ignore:

I knew you thought that :hubba:.

If you hang out here long enough, you'll see a lot of fun and interesting stuff. Ask me about the benefits of getting lightning to hit your budded female plants :). Did you know drinking a cap full of chlorine bleach will clean you up for a drug test?

You've stumbled on a wonderful and wondrous place, best enjoyed with a good sense of humor. Make yourself at home :).
