Getting ready to flower!

ok so im getting ready to flower my girls and i have heard about TOPING, but its not real clear, can any one explaine it to my!?

topping is removing the growing tip/s of the plant, instead of one kola you will get 2 or more , yeild wont be increased but instead of growing a big main kola you will get more top kola's.

Bending the tip over and tying it down will give the same result.

In weed much the same as many other plants flowering hormones are concentrated higher up in the plant thats why the top kola is always bigger.
If you top tie back or lst all your doing is redistributing the hormones to lower branches.

It's a good way to keep a plants height in check if height will be an issue...

I'm a bit wasted so hopefully somebody will explain it a bit better than i have.

if your are thinking about flowering..
topping is a great method. IMO.
i do it all the time. but it stresses the plant out
so do this only in veg. it could result in hermies.
at least give it like 2-3 weeks to recover before flowering it
after topping imo

Ok so thats what i want to do so now where would i need to cut?

some people im sure are real precise on the cut,
i however am not. I use sterile razor blades when i cut
anything on my plants, i simply cut the head of the plant off.
im sure you can find diagrams or something if you need it.
just not too much
