I'm trying to get it together to grow in dirt, indoors. so farI figure I'll start kind of slow. I've got 1 container big enough for about 6 plants. I intend to paint the inside white and use 3 or 4 60w CFL's.
I've been researching some but I am an egg. I figure it'll be a lot like cooking, read a lot of recipes, then decide what will work best in my situation with products easily obtainable. I can change to harder to get supplies as I progress.
I think my biggest ??'s are how to keep the temp right, and light/dark periods.
Wish me luck, I should be sprouting in a couple of weeks.

Welcome to the board.

Your going to need way more lighting for that many plants. Especially nonAuto plants.

Fans for cooling is the easiest method to keep temps right. Going to need intake and exhaust also.
If you could take some pictures of your setup. The board could help you with methods of custom fitting it to work best.

I'm not quite how this works, so I'll reply here.
What are nonAuto plants?
I'm planning on using 2 - 30 gal tubs, one inverted, both painted white on the inside. I read that this works, and it seems simple enough, And contains the lights. Plus it will be easy to add.
My basement is 68-70 deg F and I have a lot of old computer fans as I like to build computers. =^..^= burriedalive

Welcome to MP....I wld go with 1 plant = 1 container(pot)...multiple plants in a single container opens you up to a host of problems...autos are plants that hve a set life cycle that is predetermined. They veg for a short period and then begin to flower rapidly without the need to switch your lights to 12/12...they also stay small in stature...there is a sticky on them on this forum...
