I was watching the History Channel and they were talking about marijuana past and present. They said that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and other of our Founding Fathers grew, smoked and sold marijuana. It was all legal then so here we are today wasting millions of dollars for a War on Drugs that can't be won.

Police officers interviewed said they didn't believe they would ever get a handle on the marijuana trade.

you were expected to grow hemp as part of the war effort back in the day. it was un-american not to grow if you had acreage, and would be fined and or jailed...i read excerpts by jefferson where he said he could decipher between the effects of sativa cannabis, and indica cannabis...
