Your free to buy oil if your sick. Texas has the same laws and no doctors will write Scrips.

maybe it will be a good law. i hope it is not just smoke and mirrors to try and "please" the people. time to bring that legal weed mindset on up to georgia.

could not let a brother be happy

Sorry Bro,,,just dont want you to be disappointed or let down. Florida and Texas are run by Asshats that fight everything we stand for. Besides its just oil and for certain illnesses. Yes it is a step my friend,,at least in the right direction.

I'ts a better law than 2014 and it opens the door to thousands of needy people. I worked on the campaign for 1.5 years and the law is not perfect. It is now a constitutional amendment to Florida's Constitution. Doctor's are forbidden to write scrips since yes it is still on the DEA's Schedule 1 list...but they don't write scrips, the doc's had to pay for an expensive course to be able to offer recommendations, those are then turned into the Dept of Health and your given a 90 day card. After 90 days it is void and you must see an approved physician to get another 90 day recommendation (just like narc's). It's a money racket...plain and simple cause it costs 150 to see one of the 300 approved docs. But now we have forced our elected officials to address this in a meaningful way, this law was a simple ***** slap to the nay sayers and the people who are really holding us up....this is the cornerstone to open up full medical and rec in our state.....it is already being discussed. It is never gonna be good enough until I can buy seeds right next to the tomatoes and carrot seeds in the box stores....but this was a HUGE step forward. I like this law, I helped work on it. Peace

Any step in the right direction is a good step. Someday we will have our freedom to grow.

The 90 day recommendation is a racket. In California our recommendation lasts for a year. I see a Doctor every year for a renewal and he only charges me 45$.

A couple decades ago Doctors were charging up to 300$ for a recommendation here in Cali.

Things will change in Florida.

Hang in there and keep fighting guys!

I hope Florida is the first southern State to end the prohibition.

how does that song go,,,oh ya DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD,,,,,HAHAHA

My old home state of Massachusetts goes recreational...will make it a lot nicer to go home for a visit ...congrats Massholes...

I don't recall that ....I was sick with the flu at the time

I misspoke, it takes 90 days or less for the Dept of Health to verify and add you to the list and issue you an annual card. Most doc's are charging 250.00 for an appt and you need to bring past medical records indicating you have a Dx that is on the list of approved Dx's. The this doc "the second doc" only confirms your dX with an exam and then he writes the recommendation for either low thc / high cbd or regular mmj oils to be vaped. No edibles yet but it is being discussed so is rec and several cities have already made an oz or less a 100.00 civil fine and there is no limit on how many times you can get caught...you just get a ticket each time. It's not perfect but in the right direction now.

Just saw where the regular mmj is flower and oils. Things are looking up.
