will that be any good for keeping a mother plant or 2-3 & clones in a veg state. i mean will it give them sufficient light etc. (also ease of getting bulbs for it hehe)

the soil i have just doesn't seem to be any good, it holds water too much and not enough air. and my local garden center doesn't have perlite etc : o(

That Looks Ok But You Are Going To Need More Light If You Want Bud Buds With Flouro Its Going To To Be In The 6-7000 Lumens Per Sq Ft.

but thats enough light to hold them in a veg state?
i have a 400watt hps lamp. so for budding that'll cover it.

As long as its 50 watts per square ft that should be enough. You should try a fox farm soil, something without nutes in it. Or you could buy miracle grow with nutes and just add plain water the whole grow!!! The Brothers Grunt grew amazing buds with the miracle grow soil but you have to be sure to ONLY give them plain water!

well 50 watts per sq ft is a little high 30 per sq foot would hold them pertty well but 50 is always better.
